Here are some neos we took at J8 when we were supposed to buy presents for ODAC teachers!!

Yuda at 10:25 PM

Today's teacher's day. Went to SAJC early for an ODAC teacher's day celebration. It was raining early in the morning, as a result, a lot of the ODACers were late as we were supposed to meet at 0700. We bought a cake and made a big card for our teachers who realli treated us well in ODAC. They were veri delighted by the effort we had done for them. I will let the pictures do the talking later. The SA teacher's day celebration was quite nice and we had to do ACES day in the CC. We didn't sit as a class but as ODACers and as usual, we took a lot of photos. The sad thing, is we received news that the Cat High teachers are leaving school at 1100 for a teacher's day lunch. That means that by the time we reach cat high, the teachers would no longer be there. All our presents that we bought for the teachers are wasted.... we were guessing that it's all part of hak boon's plan to stop the "failure" batch of students from visiting their teachers. We were all so disappointed as we were unable to visit the teachers that taught us in secondary school. Nvm, we will be back next year hopefully on teacher's day!!! Happy Teacher's Day (:

GP sucks!! i rushed home yesterday in a taxi which costed me $7 to do my gp presentation which was due today. Our topic was on youths and each of us were asked to do a sub-topic on that. I am doing obesity while the others had various topics which were all sum up together into one presentation. So, during gp lesson today, we were asked to present our materials so we went up to present. 40 mins later, we ended the presentation. As we were given the break-down of our marks, we were shocked to hear that almost all categories were almost zero marks. There were the attentiveness of the audience, evaluation of topics etc.. we were given a 14/50 marks which was pure failure!! after which he told us that we were not supposed to do so many sub-topics!! we were all damn pissed at that time as we had spent so much hard work into doing this and he didn't even mention at the start. Now, we are supposed to re-do our presentation and present tomorrow ): its juz so unfair!!

Yesterday was ODAC day-cycling activity at Bishan Park. We were divided 3 different groups and after checking our bikes, sent off for the 40-50 mins cycle to Upper Pierce Reservoir. The route from bishan park to Lower Pierce Reservoir was fairly easy to cycle but the remaining route was difficult and challenging. We had to go upslope several times and some of us had to get the bike to push the bike upslope. But after much perseverence, we managed to conquer all the difficulties and reach our destination. By that time, we were all sweating profusely... we saw many monkeys along the road and the girls were somewhat intimidated by them.We played filler games there and some of the girls were forfeited for losing the game... had to do chicken dance at the carpark..hahah... after which we proceeded with the games the taskforce prepared for us. They had hidden 60 packets of macdonalds chilli, ketachup sauces in the area and we are suppose to find them. After about 20 mins, each group had to add up the total no. of packets they found and the loser group had to do a forfeit!!! our group juz happen to lose and the forfeit is to eat up the packets of sauces we have found. Luckily we were onli required to eat one.. it taste disgusting ): after which we cycled back. Each group had one "casualty" on the ride back. For our group, Mr Liang was injuried in the process of going downslope and trying to avoid hitting the girls in front. For Group 2, cheryl was injuried going downslope too when she lost balance and fell off the bike. She was later sent to the clinic. For Group 3, xiuhui was somewhat injuried for dodging a monkey??? Lester and i went home to bathe before joining them for dinner at J8. We took away all our food and sat down at a playground for dinner. We chatted on many topics as wei hao joined us after his council thing. When we were about to go, we asked someone to help us take a photo and the funny thing is, he took a picture of us upside down as he held the camera upside down... hahah.. we were all laughing like crazy and we can see that he was somewhat embarassed. These are some of the pics taken yesterday !!

wad a day!! so many interesting things that happened today!! after PE lesson, i received a message.. this is an abstract of the to and fro sms messages i received and sent.
Unknown: Wake up sleepy pig!! i am taking an MC now from the clinic now
Me: Who are you?
Unknown: Ah Di (brother)
Me: Ermm... I tink you got the wrong person.. wad's your name??
Unknown: You are not xin er meh??
Me: No... i am not
Unknown: Stop fooling with me already la xin er...

I wanted to call him to tell him that he got the wrong person but i decided to play a joke on that person and then i told him that i changed my hp no to ziyi's no. hahah.. so he sms ziyi and asked the same question," are you xin er??" Out of curiosity, we decided to call him during our break. When we picked up the call, we found out that he was actually a person in the 40s!! or at least he sounded like... we were like yuck!! so old already still so mushy. Ziyi and wei hao were like teasing me the whole day about this thing and told me i have a secret admirer. Anyway, chem test suck!! i tink i will get less than 5/26 for the paper... never study enough ): ODAC PT today was fun as we ran from school to a block at bradell road which was 22 storeys tall. We had to do running up the stairs 3 times before running back to school for games!! very tired now.. shall stop blogging. A picture speaks a thousand words, so the pics taken today are as follows.

stupid and irritating integration!!! today's tuition was all about how to integrate the nonsensical expressions ): spent a lot of time trying to figure out the pattern and everything!! how come SA has integration in its final year exam?? After tuition went wif kim, xuan, cyn and sam to macs to mug!! onli 5 weeks left before promos.. may seem a lot of time but after wad miss huang said that day, i found out that there is not much time left. Very frustrated at macs in the process of doing organic chem tutorials!!! alkanes, alkenes?? how come we have to learn these things??? its not like we are chemists who are passionate about knowing everything about mother nature and their compounds... we are juz satisfied with life so why bother to find out wad is around us?? after about 4 hours, finally finished alkanes and alkenes tutorials (: its time to mug already.. not much time left before promos!

Very sleepy now.. so i shall juz blog a short entry. Juz came home from the hardcore first-aid course. Its from 1600-2100. The last session was quite a slack one... many of them came late as they went for blood donation.. so disappointed i didn't donate. Anyway, my blood is not of much use as it is AB type and that i have something important to attend to at that time. For first-aid, we did some theory and it was all on practical already. We finally mastered the art of CPR and the next lesson is going to be a test already. Come to think of it, i missed first-aid...where we would sit together and laugh at the lecturer and sleep in class and get scolded by the lecturer. Took quite a lot of pics at the St John HQ [http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2102951385] Got to go and do PW already, muz show jiaqi the WR draft tomorrow ): bye!!

Finally have time to blog!! juz came back from tuition this morning at 0930.. integration was terrible and i didn't know MI can be combined wif differentiation!! argh... help ): anyway, yesterday we went to minqi's house for our ODAC farewell party. Somehow, it didn't turn out as fun as we expected it to be. Joshua, xiuhui, ziyi, wei hao and i met up at around 1015 at The Prata House at thomson for prata breakfast and then went to meet up wif the rest at clementi MRT before taking 184 to her house. Upon reaching there, we went to chill out at the swimming pool.. talking and playing wif the guitar while the others went to do the decoration. We then started barbacue at around 1500... "we" used 12 starters to start a fire and ended up using up all the charcoal for that. The barbacue food was quite delicious and i ate 3 plates of bee hoon and 2 plates of fried rice!! When the seniors came, we entertained them wif our singing and songs. After that were the games that was held in the multi-purpose hall and the prize presentation which was very amusing.. we were in our secondary school uniform as the theme for the evening was entitled,"old school days". It was quite weird wearing back the cat high uniform again!! after that, they were shown a video that we prepared for them.. it was hilarious as they recalled the things they had done to us during OEC. After that we went for barbacue and a bit of swimming before bathing and going home. At the bus-stop, we were supposed to board bus 170 but it juz zoomed pass us though we flagged for it.. how irriating!! at that time, there were no other buses to take already so xiuhui and i juz shared a cab home ): very expensive

blogging at 1232a.m.. juz came back from a day of tiring but fun experience. Firstly was ODAC PT which consist of 2 rounds warm-up, 6 rounds of running in 12 mins by the boys and 14 mins by the girls and another 6 rounds of running after the latter in 14 mins by the boys and 16 mins by the girls. The last part of the PT was a 4 round cool down before we sat down to discuss the preparations for tomorrow's ODAC farewell party at minqi' house. We had great and almost perfect results today for running but the econs h1 common test was simply disastrous!! haiz.. don wan to talk about it anymore. Anyway, after PT and the discussion, i went back home to bathe and then go out to catch the fireworks at marina today. It was a squeezy ride on the train as many ppl went down to catch a glimpse of the magnficant fireworks display. We walked to Fullerton Hotel to have a view of the fireworks display. The fireworks were simply fantastic!! the view there was also quite good... a pity we don have cameras around except for lester's phone. After that, wei hao, lester, valerie, geok hian, ziyi, maurice and i went to "lau pa sat" to have supper. However, as the queue at the drinks stall was simply too long, we decided to have a drink at Carl's Junior!! we ended up playing "zhong ji mi ma" and kept refilling the drinks until the shop closes. Tomorrow should be a fun day at ODAC farewell party!! i will post the pics ASAP!!

Happy Birthday Singapore!! Today's national day (: anyway, here to blog about yesterday's national day "celebration" in school. Our class was supposed to go back to daystar childcare centre at holland ave but it was cancelled as they had their celebration 2 days before already. So, we stayed in school to entertain the M.i.n.d.s ppl. It was an organization for the mentally disabled ppl. At first, we were pretty scared of them though we had experience during our sec 4 CIP. I was asked to look after a malay client. During the performance in the hall, he went to the toilet 4 times in 20 mins. He was a very playful person who juz disturbed the other ppl and even pointed middle finger at them when he was angry.. hahah... however, i also found out the soft side of him as he is always protective of a malay girl named siti. Whenever she was "bullied", he would stand out for her. The funny thing is, if siti is angry wif him, he would apologise immediately.... maybe she's his girlfriend or as he claims so. We played games in school like musical chairs, ball mania and the painting of the Singapore flag. They had lunch in school and after that we sent them off... it turned out to be quite a fun but tiring day!!!

Life is juz so unfair!!! i woke up at 0600 this morning and did my daily routines of bathing, changing and eating breakfast and then walk to the bus-stop oppostite prime supermarket. When i was at the traffic light, i saw bus 13 drift pass my eyes. I was like, oh shit... another 10 mins or so until the next bus. Surprisingly, when i reached the bus-stop, i saw in the distance another bus 13. My mind was thinking, i would be early for school today. The time then was 0630. However, as the bus came closer into sight, i found out that it was packed and the ppl on it were squeezing like sardines. There was simply no way to squeeze on board. Juz had to wait for the next bus which took like eternity and came about 25 mins later. The time was already about 0700. Luckily, there were many saints on the bus so i was quite relieved. I also saw 2 teachers on the bus; we can be late together i guess... there are teachers to explain the situation anyway. We walked in to the school at around 0740 and were asked to stand in a row, parading ourselves to the public while the teachers juz smiled to their colleagues and entered the school. I like, this is damn unfair!!! teachers can get away for being late and we as students were not excused. Is there any logic to this?? anyway, we were asked to sit in front of the GO for half an hour before we were let off to go for lessons.

Wow!! i never knew a dance concert was so exciting until i saw Rapture at the Esplanade on fri night. Before Rapture, i still have PT training in school. We managed to complete 6km of running within the given timing. After that, i rushed home to change and go for Rapture... after running after the bus and catching the train, i managed to reach there at around 1900. Caught up with the rest of them and we entered the concert hall punctually. The attendance that day was great!! There were altogether around 14 ppl... me, wilson, shiyi, weng san, yixiang, sam, paul, melvin, cynthia, zhi xuan, kim, lynette, minxin, debbie.. wei xuan and wen nan was at the concert too!! not forgetting angelyn who was performing..(i hope i didn't miss anyone out) We sitting at the 1st level and was in around the back centre sits, row U to be exact. The view there was simply perfect and we were entertained by the exciting performance and the somewhat magical lightings done by the SAJC Dance Society. It was even more amazing to see the last item which was put up by our very own SA teachers, including teachers that had taught me - Miss Huang, Miss Tan and Mr Lim. After the concert, we went to take some pics outside Esplanade and then went to eat "supper". Bought some bread at Breadtalk and sat down at a corner at citylink and started eating and talking until about 2330 when we were very tired and decided to take a train home. What a great performance by the dancers of SAJC!! Rapture Rocks!!

Went to BMTC training camp at Palau Tekong today. At first, i thought it was going to be a boring experience as i felt that what was there to see when we are going there in less than 2 years time. My impression of Palau Tekong was that of eerie and a run-down place as there were many ghost stories regarding the stay there. But today, as we board the air-conditioned ferry over to Palau Tekong, my impression of it changed immediately. The entire complex was like a resort; it had the colour of the SAJC building and it was juz like a school on an island. There was not much to complain about there.. the bunks were clean and even the bed was king koil!!! There are 2 pool tables, a table-tennis table and a television in the "lounge" near the bunk. We tried on many of the stations that were set up for us. By the way, there were many schools there as well like RJ, SRJC, MJC and TJC... saw kelvin and reuben from SRJC and ben seck from RJ!!! after this trip, i am more excited at the prospect of going into the army!!! juz a quote found in the camp today. " The easiest day spent in the army was yesterday"....
