wad a tiring day today!!! had to run from all the discipline teachers in our school. Early in the morning after assembly, we were told that there would be a hair-check today. So, the teachers started going down the row to check every individual's hair. Two people were caught in my class, namely Nigel and Brien. Mr Peh then went to check my hair. My sideburn was like so long that it covers my ears. Luckily, he onli told me that my uniform was too big for me... i was like.... it is so short that i can tuck out fully, how am i going to wear a shirt that is smaller than that?? So, i managed to escape this catastrophe for the moment. After the chem tutorial in the 1st period, my class went to the cafe for breakfast. Luckily, i accompanied Ziyi, Steiner and Wei hao to make their fingerprints thing so by the time i go to the cafe, Silas had already finished his routine check in the canteen.. 3 more ppl were caught from my class and its like their hair was so short lor... When we went for GP lesson where Muru didn't come again, we saw Silas inspecting an entire class on the 1st level and we were juz above him. So, some of us went to the toilet to hide until the tide has passed.... so, in total today, i had 3 hour break ): wad is school nowadays where the timetable is like a waste of time?? finally waited for the school bell to ring and then went home.

In a blink of an eye, the june hols are ending soon; to be more specific, tomorrow marks the start of a new school term. Juz a brief summary of my june hols. 1st week of june hols was the week of camps. Went for LTC camp and Ophir during the 1st week which was so tiring. The interval between them was onli a day. The onli thing that was fun in the 2nd week of june hols was our 08 gathering at xuan's house. It was so fun and happy meeting them; all the memories we spent together all rushed back into our minds. The pics taken are at [ http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0CctmzZw1YsXPA&notag=1], generously contributed by xuan. The rest of the 2nd week was juz plain slacking and watching world cup. I watched almost every night until i nearly collapsed. The timing was weird also... 2100, 0000 and 0300. I usually watch all 3 matches unless i am realli very tired. So, the 2nd week was mostly spent at macs watching soccer. The 3rd week was spent practising for my music exam which turned out disastrous (refer to previous post). Oh...we also went for cyn's drama nite which was quite entertaining as we sat in the 1st row disturbing the actresses... haha.. then went to Holland Village for supper. It was so heart-warming to sit together and ahve a meal with them. The last week of the school hols was "fun-filled". Firstly was the music exam ): but we had a mini 08 gathering to eat prata and played some lame games to entertain ourselves.... it was fun!! These few days was done flipping through notes and the worst thing of all is that i didn't know that the SA mids is 40%!! juz praying hard that i can cover everything in this week. To all my friends who are taking their exams this week, GOOD LUCK!!! All the best for your common tests (: we can enjoy together after mids!!

What a dreadful day!!! Woke up at 1100 and then rushed to Clementi for my music exam (on an empty stomach). Reached there at around 1300 when my exam is supposed to start at 1310. Had a quick "lunch" which i onli managed to finish half the bowl of noodles. Ran up to the music school where they person was already waiting for me. Registered and then sat in the waiting room. It was realli scary; the atmosphere was tense and i was very nervous. A while later, the invigilator gave me the 2 improvision scores which i had onli 5 mins to read. 5 mins later, i had to enter the exam room... there were 5 examiners looking at you... you can imagine how scary it was. I fumbled during the 1st 3 pieces, namely 2 impro and sight reading ): what's worse is someone actually called me in the middle of the exam and my phone was like vibrating as i played...haiz... no matter how good my compulsory piece and selected piece was, it was juz not enough to help pull up the grades. Juz praying hard now that a miracle would happen and that i would pass. Oh...one more thing, the person who called me actually told me she dialled the wrong number when i called back after the exam. What a dreadful day!!!

Haiz.. juz here to blog about how boring my "holidays" are. The most fun part of the holidays had to be the trip to Mount Ophir (refer to previous post). In this holiday, we were supposed to study hard for our mid-years which starts when school re-opens. So, we started our mugging, hoping to get good results. So unfortunately, its the year of FIFA World Cup 2006. So for msot boys, when soccer meets studies, they would choose soccer. I am no exception. 5 continuous days of sleepless nights chionging the opening matches of this wonderful event. Obviously neglecting my studies. I became so tired that i slept from 7am to 2pm for a continuous 5 days. Not a healthy lifestyle i muz say... i can almost predict that i will flung my mid-years because of the world cup. Juz a wild guess... i believe that the mid-year results for girls will be better than boys.. anyone disagree??

Trip To Mount Ophir ( 31/5/06 - 3/3/06 )

Day 1 (31/5/06) Singapore - Ophir Checkpoint 4

Woke up at 0600 to pack up my things and then went down to meet up with xiuhui as her dad sent us there.. meaning me, joshua and xiuhui. Joshua was late and as a result, we did not wait for him too long.. left at around 0710. There were already a lot of ppl at the train station already, took some pics and tried contacting Joshua who was very late.. luckily we were still in time for the train. The girls spent their time gossiping while the boys either slept on board or filled our stomaches at the cafe in the train. Reached Segamat at around 2; ate lunch at the hawker centre and then took a public bus to Taman Negara Gunung Landang where we had to walk 1km to the base camp (it was raining when we were on board the bus). Spilt ourselves into 2 groups and then set off. The 1st group mainly consist of the ppl who are carrying tents. Reached checkpoint 4 around 3 hours later as we had breaks in between (rested at different checkpoints). Pitched the tents and then went to cook dinner. It was raining while we were cooking. Had the 1st taste of chlorine water from the waterfall. Main course for dinner was udon. Tasted quite nice and that realli helped filled our stomaches. Played some filler games after dinner and then went to sleep at around 9 which was already pitch-dark.

Day 2 (1/6/06) Checkpoint 4 - Summit - Checkpoint 4

Woke up as early as 7am to set off for the summit of mount ophir which was at checkpoint 9. Trek for around 4 hours to reach the summit. There were many obstacles in between; the most difficult of all being KFC ( Killer Field Course) where we had to climb vertical walls using ropes and our hands onli. There were also the climbing between rocks.. juz to name a few. The scenery at the summit was rather disappointing but there was a sense of accomplishment for all of us. Spent an hour having lunch and taking pics before going down. The road down was rather easy compared to going up; maybe it's because we had gained experience on going up the mountain already. Reached back at checkpoint 4 at around 5 where we could not hesistate to jump into the ice-cool water for a bath. It is so cold that all of us shivered under water... cooked dinner which was far more filling than the previous one as we aimed to finish all our food. After which we had filler games and lights out at 10.

Day 3 (2/06/06) Checkpoint 4 - Segamat Town

Woke up as early as 0615 to pack up al our things and unpitch the tents but in the process, the rain fell on us. So, we had to hide in the tent which was leaking for around half and hour before the rain actually stopped. The floor became very slippery and as a result, many of us slipped and fell on the way down. Reached the base camp at around 1pm and then took a bus to the terminal to have our lunch before walking to the "hotel" which was 15 mins away. The 1st thing we did at the hotel was to bath before resting on the soft bed. Had our dinner at a nearby hawker centre where the food was cheap and delicious. Spent onli 9RM on 6 dishes and 4 plates of rice. Thanx Wei hao for the food and the drinks!!! very "generous" of him to treat us. Did some shopping at the town and we bought some food for the next morning. Slept at around 0200 because we were watching the movie "hostage" in our hotel.

Day 4 (3/06/06) Segamat Town - Singapore

Woke up at 0900 for some de-brief before heading off to the same hawker centre for breakfast. Caught the 1250 train back to Singapore; practically did nothing on the train except for gossiping and sleeping. Reached back to mainland Singapore at around 1600.
